Dickens of a time programming a song economically.

Is there anyone who offers assistance as far as programming a difficult (seemingly simple) song? I'm creating part upon part and not half way through the song. I use Reaper.

Can I put a part together with the first 10 measures in 4/4 and the 11th in 2/4?

I'm not a Reaper user, but since Jamstix follows the host, I assume the answer depends on whether or not you can do this in Reaper?

A part in Jamstix can only have one time sig so this kind of thing is hard to do at the moment.
