IIRC Boot up Reaper and let the song play all the way through once before you export the midi.See if that gets it

Section 15.2 in the Manual(You now that thing that we always read all the way through<grin> :)

:D

Yes, I've done that (played the song through, not read the manual. Although I have read it... :P) even couple of times but it still leaves gaps.

And now that I went and tried to do it again, it worked like it should.

It's driving me nuts I tell ya.

I don't bother with midi files for the drums since using JS.Reaper stores all the data anyway :)

Anyone with problems, please try JS 3.1 beta and, if problems persist, send me rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamsix3.

Well, I have the habit of coming up with a riff and then recording it so I don't forget. After a while I have a bunch of riffs and I begin messing around with them In Rpr. For me it's easier to work with midi snippets, as I'm moving stuff around the timeline figuring out what works with wht and where ("does this riff work after that one? what if this became before that?" etc.).

Don't know if I'm explaining this clearly, but I hope you get what I mean. :)

I also get gaps here and there, from time to time. Then I play the whole song through once again, and I can't figure out why, those gaps are gone. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Is JS 3.2.0 and Reaper 4.111 broken? Used JS with Reaper in the past with little problems. Started a new project with current versions and nothing but freezes and lockups. I get them in both Reaper 32 and 64 - but most of my experience is in 64.

Confirmed - broken on my system.

I installed Reaper v3.78 32 bit, and everyting is working perfectly for the past hour. Now able to move on to actually recoding drums tracks instead of continually locking up JS/Reaper while adjusting JS.

Same problem here. Reaper 64 v4.13, Jamstix 3.2, reaper_host32.exe crashes.

It's not consistent.

Been using Reaper32 under Window7 64 and it seems stable.

Thanks
