Please double-check that time sig changes in REAPER are at the correct position (at precise beginning of first bar of new part in JS3).

I own Jamstix 3P, and I'm using version 3.0.2 RC2 in Reaper version 3.63.

Here are some things I've found in addition to the Brain window refresh bug.

1) When loading kits, I noticed that I was frequently missing pieces. I finally figured out these were XL kits, which I don't own. This is confusing to a beginner like me, because I've read the manual but there is no mention of XL or CS or any other type of kit.

Why should a kit I don't own be visible by default, or available for selection? I suggest that not-owned kits either be hidden or moved to a separate section, including all the other third party drums like Steven Slate, Addictive Drums etc. Right now all kits are in the same hierarchy, in the same window, and the window is labeled "Available Kits" when actually most of them are not available at all. Likewise, the 808 Kit (XL) is available in the Quickstart Songs menu, but isn't functional.

2) There is a bug too that added to my confusion. Sometimes an XL kit will load (or preview) but not show any missing pieces, which led me to believe I could use it. This bug is random and usually the missing pieces label does show. However, there is one repeatable bug: if I load the Popcorn Funk (XL) kit, it never shows missing pieces.

3) The Time and Shuffle buttons toggle between down and up. This is fine. The Wizard button also has a toggle behavior but it always stays up, which I think is wrong.

4) Sometimes when I load a Quickstart Song, the kit will say that Drumsticks are missing, but they're not. This is not repeatable and is rare so I'm not sure if it's user error somehow.

5) My Downmix button has quit working. When I click on it it flashes but stays off. It doesn't matter whether I load Jamstix on one track or use a multitrack configuration.

6) I got a Reaper "Abstract Error" box a few times when trying to go into options. Not repeatable.

7) Random hangs force me to hard close Reaper, probably from clicking all over the place. Here are my VST settings:

As a new user, and loving it, I have to vote twice for this option. Please put the full kits available, based on what has been purchased in a different category, or even a different color. Some normal color if the full kit is available, Red if it's limited or not available at all.

I installed the 3.0.2 update and now the whole Jamstix is gone from my plugin list...

I'm running Win7 and Reaper 3.73/x64.

Trying to run Options/Preferences/VST/"Clear cache/re-scan" I get this:

After clicking "skip" and trying to re-scan, it scans normally but does not show Jamstix in the plugin list...

Also, when it worked, trying to export into midi-file would leave random blank spots in the file:

Those files are both exported from the same song file. The only place there really should be silence is where the time selection is.

I used to Have Comodo Firewall.It became a PITA.I changed to Ashampoo(free),

It doesn't say it works with 7 but I reckon it will and you can always run it in Compatibility mode.

I would Remove Comodo,clean registry

and then try again.

Threw Comodo away and that seemed to sort it out, thanks for the tip.

Any idea about that midi export thing?
