Midi map EZ drummer / keyboard controller / where to start?
I'm achieving some clarity now that I've got my head around editing the input midi map. Thanks for the advice on that.
I've started to set up my own ones and I can now see why I was foxed.
Many thanks.
Been using Jamstix for ages now, but, still lots to learn!

<br/>
I'm in Reaper. I have JS on one track sending midi triggering EZ drummer on another track. <br/>
<br/>
In JS, I have the midimap for inputting as "jamstix" and the midimap for output mapping as the EZ drummer expansion "70's Rock".<br/>

Midi map EZ drummer / keyboard controller / where to start?
<t>Thanks a_zimuth. I've been using the Midi out template kit, but I've not tried creating or editing the midi map from the data folder.<br/>

Midi map EZ drummer / keyboard controller / where to start?
<t>Main question: <br/>
What mapping should I use in JS4 so that each key I play on my 88 note controller is exactly the same note being output by JS4 in order to be that exact note going to say EZ drummer? In other words, how do I ensure say F1 played on my controller keyboard will always play F1 ...

Triggering Hi-Hat Articulations in EZ Drummer
<r>I'm triggering EZ Drummer 2 with JS4 and wondered how to think about and capitalize on the hi-hat articulations in EZ Drummer 2 which are available, such as closed edge, closed tip, tight edge, tight tip, etc.<br/>

No sounds - Jamstix 4.2.0 Beta 3 64 bit
Here's a bit more after some twiddling...
It's as though JS4 wants to load midi output only. I can manually load a drum sound the usual way - click on the drum, right click, change drum sound - and then the drum produces sound. But, if I load a full kit, then there are no sounds.
