Why is using JS always an exercise in frustration? Two bugs.

Ralph,

Sorry for the belated response. Unfortunately I removed JS for that song and used another drum synth, so I can't check.

However I suspect you might be right that I could have been using both Silent style and Silent player. Is this an invalid combination?

Why is using JS always an exercise in frustration? Two bugs.

<t>I'm also running into other issues, but these are not serious enough to interfere with operation. Specifically there seems to be problems with editing text in textboxes etc. For instance, when I try to rename a part, I can't properly select a range of text. Also, when deleting a character at a ...

Why is using JS always an exercise in frustration? Two bugs.

<t>I have not used JS 3 in a while and wanted to use it to put life into some MIDI drum loops that fits my song. Of course I immediately hit multiple JS 3 bugs, making it hard to do what I want.<br/>
<br/>
I loaded JS 3 then loaded the "Silent" player for the first 8 bars before the song actually ...

Mouse Problem

<t>Other Sonar users on the Cakewalk forum confirmed the same behavior. However someone posted a workaround - ensure that "Share drivers with other programs" is disabled.<br/>
<br/>
I rely on having multiple music applications open at the same time, so it would be great if this issue can be fixed ...

Mouse Problem

<t>Ralph,<br/>

I'm using Sonar X3e and I'm having the exact same issue. When I'm in the Kit tab and click on any drum element to audition it, it selects it visually but no sound is produced. Then if I click anywhere outside of Jamstix, the last sound I clicked on plays audibly.<br/>
<br/>
Is ...

Can I run Jamstix 3 on Sonar X1 with Windows 7-64 bit?

<r><QUOTE author="docatlas"><s>
</s>
When you insert Jamstix in Sonar, be sure to check 'Enable MIDI Output' in the dialog box that comes up.<e>
</e></QUOTE>

That would be problematic since Sonar has a bug that will result in MIDI events from the output of a VSTi to bleed ...

Is JS3 actively being tested with Studio One?

Yes Reaper is actually one of the DAWs I'm testing. There are things I like about it and things I don't, so I'm weighing my options. I don't want to go into those details here on the JS forums though.

Is JS3 actively being tested with Studio One?

<t>Hi p_theisen,<br/>
<br/>
Just a quick note: I'm not the same BitFlipper as the one in the CakeWalk forum. If you note I joined Rayzoon as well as KVR forums before the "CakeWalk" BitFlipper joind their forums. This often leads to confusion when Sonarites see me posting on other forums, so I just ...

I zipped all the recent JS3 logs and emailed it to support.
