Jamcussion won\'t compose usable parts

<t>Sorry. Should have said. I use Windows 10 (64-bit). <br/>
Incidentally, Window Task Manager tells me Jamstix 4 Manager is 32-bit. Does that matter?<br/>
In the installation options I've chose the 64-bit VST installation.<br/>
I hope it doesn't matter that I have the Jamstix program installed on ...

SOLVED:Live Loop not responding to note data?

<t>I've tried switching "Use Yamaha pitch convention for note values" on and off. And now JS no longer responds to MIDI notes in liveloop mode. I had it working by subtracting 2 in Ableton Live, but now (with Yamaha notes off) it just plays through the song and seems to ignore MIDI input. It even ...

SOLVED:Live Loop not responding to note data?

<t>I thought I had a similar problem but made a discovery.<br/>
<br/>
MIDI note names are not standardized. What one controller or DAW calls C1 might be C-1 in another.<br/>
<br/>
For example, Jamstix's "C1" is called "C-1" in Ableton Live. (I.e. always subtract 2 octaves to convert between Jamstix ...
