The other two blacklisted plugins that I have are also reported as VST2.<br ...

Fully agree, but one is anxious. I too have very much to learn in JS3, but knowing that JS4 "is on its way", and is likely to be vastly superior, I am not sure how much effort to devote to learning JS3.<br/>
