Re: Welcome to the new Rayzoon forums!

Really good to see you posting again, Ralph.

The VST3 thing? Still using JS4 with no issues in Reaper on W11. Still haven't the slightest clue about 'drumming'.
Relieved to read there'll be a JS5 in the future - I've been dreading the day when JS4 and whatever version of Windows/Reaper decided they ...

Problem or deliberate?

Okay. That's groovy. As long as it's not something starting to go wrong.

Thanks.

Problem or deliberate?

<t>Hiya,<br/>
I like to send my JS kit output to 8 tracks. <br/>
Never been a problem, until last week when I selected the 'Phil' drummer. Using the 'Phil' kit, when I send ambience to last track, or select the 8 outputs option from the kit dropdown, I lose the kick and snare outputs to tracks 1 & 2 ...

Couple of Questions For Reaper Expert

<r><QUOTE author="chip_mcdonald"><s>
</s>Wait... someone going on another product's forum to ask about how to use Reaper? Did that just happen?<e>
</e></QUOTE>

Seems to be standard practice with actual musicians, these days.<br/>
Too many wannabe professors arguing the ...

Jamstix 4 Information

So, am I right in thinking...

If you own JS3, the upgrade is discounted - think I read same price as the current JS3 offer?
...and if you bought JS3 in the last couple of years, it's a free upgrade?

Any release date on JS4?

Cheers

Jamstix 3.6.0 Final Release Candidate Available

May be completely unrelated, but I installed 360b18 yesterday and spent half an hour scratching my head at why it would compose anything more than a hihat pattern, before I noticed that it had defaulted to 0% dynamics...
Just a thought.

Jamstix 3.6.0 Final Release Candidate Available

<t>Followed the instructions for JS36b14 install - removing the relevant files as per earlier post - and found the GUI won't load at all in Reaper 4.591x64. Couldn't send a log file as it didn't generate one.<br/>
Restored PC back to before install, now on JS36b13, all fine.<br/>
Gonna try just ...

Need an explanation an idiot can understand

<t>It takes an idiot... as they say.<br/>
If I'm reading this right, you're wanting to write the drum parts in MIDI and then get JS3 to play what you wrote?<br/>
In this case, I would...<br/>
Set your MIDI track up, DRAG JS3 into the DAW, so that it sets up it's own Drum tracks - in Reaper it opens ...
