You have failed to understand that Jamstix is a VST. As such, there is no executable file (or desktop icon). Put Jamstix into your VST folder, then open your host DAW - you should be able to access Jamstix from within the DAW.

I don't run Vista, but I believe Jamstix does not have any problems with that OS.
I'm not sure what you mean by "no installation program". Jamstix is a VSTi, so you need a VST host to open and run the program - it's not a stand-alone application.

I'm not a Reaper user, but since Jamstix follows the host, I assume the answer depends on whether or not you can do this in Reaper?
