<t>Hey Ralph,<br/>
<br/>
I'm trying to import a MIDI file that's written with a swing to it. When I try using the groove importer, Jamstix doesn't seem to catch all the notes correctly. The part also has some double hits and flams, which seem to be giving JS problems. Do you have any suggestions for ...

AVLM - need to download new paks?
<t>I can;t seem to get any of the kits to adjust the DYN button. I looked in the kits folder and all of them have .j2k extensions. Which Kits are the js3 kits. I wanted to fiddle with AVLM to see what it can do, but I can't seem to kind a Kit that lets me adjust it. Any hints Ralph?<br/>

Grooves sound too sterile
Well in the current case, I'm sort of looking for a shuffle rock with some tom riffing and hi hat choking, but I was more curious as to the process you use to adjust style and drummer elements so I could learn it myself.

Grooves sound too sterile
<t>Hey Ralph and everyone else,<br/>

I've been using JS for over a year now, but it seems at this point all I'm using it as is an advanced humanizer. I currently create all my own grooves and use JS as the engine to adjust timing velocity etc. The problem is I really want to unleash all the ...

Brain editing velocity& timing on hand drawn hits
It's still giving me silence. Do i have to "lock all manually created events" for this to work? Will it still adjust the velocity and timing of the notes I write? Sorry to be pesky, and thanks for all the help!

Brain editing velocity& timing on hand drawn hits
<t>Is there any way to keep the brain from just writing silence whenever an attribute is changed in the brain? I'm liking how the drummer changes the feel and accents and such, but every time I write a groove and then change something in the drummer style, the program starts writing silence as the ...

Brain editing velocity& timing on hand drawn hits
<t>Hey Ralph,<br/>
<br/>
I've been wondering if there's any way to lock a particular hit so it won't get composed over, but have the brain change its velocity and timing. I like creating my own grooves, but I want a natural feel to those beats, as if the drummer knows what I want, but adjusts the ...

How to correctly make a triplet?
<t>Is there any way to do triplet 16th's? I have a grove that I'm trying to import with grace note triplet 16th's coming on right before a beat, but I can't get it to sit right. I've tried the double and Bounce options, but they don't seem to work like I want them to, because the extra hits die so ...
