Jamstix 4 Information
What will the upgrade to JS 4 price be for those who've had JS 3 for a long time? Already know I'll upgrade .. just curious.

Where is the Audio Outputs Control?
Thanks for the quick replys. I assume there were some glitches w/subhosting (though I never had any). No problem I guess I can still drive SD2 with JS midi. One question though---when one upgrades to 3.5 what occurs with all of the saved projects that have JS subhosting?

Where is the Audio Outputs Control?
I want to expand the audio outputs for subhosted SD2. The JS manual refers to an "Audio Outputs control" to go beyond 8 outputs but doesn't seem to say where it is located. This must have been discussed but I guess my search skills aren't that great.

Any luck in Linux?
<t>I'm told that many VSTs and VSTIs work well in Linux. Some don't but apparently that's mostly those with dongles & such. I'm moving towards converting my studio to Linux and am curious if anyone has reported success with Jamstix/Linux. It wouldn't be critical for me. If it doesn't work I'd just ...

Can\'t seem to get it to work
Thanks Sheppo_a I'll try that. I haven't had any more probs loading the clip into the song builder though. But in midi jam JS will use the midi clip on the track as a style and still adhere to the song structure in the song builder?

Can\'t seem to get it to work
<r>You're absolutly right Moon. When I was a kid I would just stomp on a toy & break it if I couldn't get it to work right away. Good thing I can't do that with software. I still haven't really mastered JS3 but have used it on some tracks & am having a ball with it. Thanks to Ralph & all for your ...

Can\'t seem to get it to work
<t>Well hmmm. I'm trying to avoid saying this is the worst piece of crap I've had to deal with in a long time. Ain't no software engineer but I ain't no dummy either. Can't get the import to work except for a couple of hits and then it takes the "snap" right out of the clip and plays it kind of lame ...

Can\'t seem to get it to work
<t>Yes I did change the time sig in Reaper to 3/4. Today I'm starting over with JS (manual in hand) at the beginning. I've had it working before but it's been a while since I had time to experiment. I'm sure I've forgotten something basic. I'll get right back if I run into a snag. I played with it ...

Can\'t seem to get it to work
<t>I'm trying to do what should be one of the simplest of tasks--import a midi file and elaborate. Ok I've followed the instructions to a T. Import style>load midi pattern>Save style preset & give it a name>click Wizard>select import as style>work with song builder. This one is a simple 3/4 clip but ...
