What is a license key file?

I have not used Jamstix in awhile.

What is a license key file? It used to be that we just pasted the activation code directly in Jamstix.

Start/Stop and Tap Tempo from footswitch

Yeah, I've done a full forum search and I can not seem to find anyone else who desires to control start/stop and tempo with a footswitch which I find odd since Jamstix is designed to be something one jams with live.

Nobody knows? Not possible?

Start/Stop and Tap Tempo from footswitch

<t>I'm trying to figure out, for live usage, if one can control Jamstix Start/Stop and Tap Tempo from a footswitch like the Molten Voltage Tempest (http://www.moltenvoltage.com/pedalsync_midi_pedalboard_devices_by_molten_voltage.html).<br/>

Power Level and Midi Export

<t>Update.<br/>
<br/>
Nevermind. I had another midi track that was set up to input js2 and output bfd and even though it was muted, it must have somehow been transferring between the two because once I deleted it, js2 is making bfd do the same the midi file is doing. I'm surprised I was not getting ...

Power Level and Midi Export

<t>I just tried to midi record on the file I am working on and it's still different. It's odd. The version from Jamstix, the one I have been mixing from, is very punchy but once I play the midi file, it loses its punch and more of the room sound comes through and the kick becomes dominated by the ...

Power Level and Midi Export

<t>So I finally arrived at a mix I liked and I exported the midi out and then mixed the whole song down in my daw and it didn't sound the same. That was when I realized that I had the Power on js2 turned up to 108%(which turns out to cause a 2 db increase in volume level of the drums).<br/>

Update to 3.0.1

What's the default directory that it is looking for? Once I changed it, it wouldn't automatically say it again and I said c:\Jamstix3 from memory and that does not seem to be right.

Update to 3.0.1

<t>Hi. I tried to update to 3.0.1 last night and says it can't find the Jamstix folder with no option to point it in the right direction. Now, on the first installation of J3, I was confused by the default installation directory (C:\Jamstix3) so I changed it to one I made in my VST folder. When I ...
