I don't know how you'd do it in Cubase, but basically every DAW has some way to change the project tempo without affecting audio files, specifically for this purpose.

Cheers.

Also, maybe this is a dumb question, but is there some reason you can't set the project tempo to 60bpm? :P

If the problem goes away with full speed, you could grab the MIDI from Jamstix and then stretch it to the proper length in your DAW.

You say that you've got JS set to half speed... what happens if you set it to full speed?

I was having a similar issue recently. Just to make sure, have you played through the entire project in Jamstix since changing it back to full speed? Mine was cutting out anything I hadn't actually played.

Midi Import Question / Hi-hats

Depending on how long the pattern is, you could use the two-bar program-it-yourself style... U-Pick Metal 2-Bar in the MetalPak, and I think there's one that works the same in the classic styles. Not sure.

Export MIDI File not exporting the whole song

Aha, that did it. I've definitely played through the whole song before, and the parts all had notes in the timeline view at the bottom left, but I guess fiddling with some of the earlier parts and adding/removing a section or two must have reset everything after that.

Export MIDI File not exporting the whole song

Good to know. I didn't even realize we'd ever had it before it got taken away :/

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same result with dragging. Trying it on another song just now, I got a MIDI item with the right overall length but only the last section had any notes.

Export MIDI File not exporting the whole song

I've actually never been able to drag/drop from Jamstix, over a few different OS/DAW/JS setups. No idea why.

Export MIDI File not exporting the whole song

<r>I've never used the MIDI export feature before, so I can't say if this is new with 3.6 or not. Anyway...<br/>
<br/>
My exported MIDI files have some sections blank (looks like one full rep of a part each time) and don't actually render the entire song - I'm working on a four minute project and ...
