Moved Jamstix2 and now kits are missing

Hi Ralph,

Thank you for your reply. I've emailed the two most recent rzdlog files to you.

By the way, I have Jamstix 2, not 3. You haven't got all my money yet! :D

Moved Jamstix2 and now kits are missing

<t>Hi Ralph,<br/>
<br/>
I recently "organised" my folders and moved the Jamstix2 folder into my VST folder. The data folder is within the Jamstix2 folder yet the program can't find the kits. I've tried the "load Data Paks" option but there are no paks to point at. Can you help, please?<br/>

Jamstix 3 Information

<r>Hi Ralph,<br/>
<br/>
Thank you for your comment. I admit that not everyone likes Zebra's (or Ableton's) interface, but I used them as examples of GUIs that distance themselves from the bloated "imitation hardware" paradigm and use screen real estate as efficiently as possible. I wasn't demanding ...

Jamstix 3 Information

<r>Ralph, while I appreciate the hard work that has gone into the GUI, I feel that it is still very inefficient. Please look at how much space in the GUI is taken up by the massive borders to each section. There is absolutely no need for a computer program to use up so much space in simulating an ...

<r>I agree with Susan. There is no need for a large, realistic picture of a drum kit - a schematic will do. You'll find that you'll have more space on the GUI to incorporate features. Place the emphasis on the grid editor and the rhythm controls. Don't try to emulate "realistic" knobs and faders ...

Jamstix 2.5.2 Beta 8 Available

Ralph, I still can't drop MIDI drum loops into Jamstix. I drag a file from Reaper's media explorer and run the cursor over the Jamstix GUI but the cursor doesn't prompt me. Pesky computers. :? :wink:

It's good to know that the GUI will be redesigned. Ralph, it might be a good idea to consult users about the GUI; after all, who else is going to be so interested in all things Jamstix? Please the customers [i ...
