I've had a thought back to when this may have happened before with JS.

The JS installer installs a version of the C+++ redistributable but perhaps I need another or different one installed for Win10 64 ?

If so which version ?

I don't know if this helps but,

Jamstix> Options> Enable Compact user Interface.

Also in my DAW(Reaper) before I load Jamstix on a Track I right Click on the VST and choose Run-As >Embedded Bridge UI otherwise it loads as a,"Floating" VST.

<r>I found the best way to learn Jamstix was to use a genre of song I'm used to like say blues and make a 12 bar based song. Then lay down some bass and guitar over the pre-installed styles and drummers. Then go back and start editing the sections,in this case each set of 12 bars.<br/>
