I bounce an old thread to point out that I have exactly the same issue and I think that this problem might prevent liveloop mode to function properly in Live's CLIP view.<br/>

Jamstix 3 Information

Will JS3 be able to load samples without the need to host another vst into it? Maybe the possibility to build our own multilayered drumkits within JS3 itself?
