Fix for ASIO Overloads/Crackles with GUI Open

<t>Ralph,<br/>
<br/>
This old problem has resurfaced with 3.5 but running 64 bit. I am using RC1. I just upgraded to a 64 bit host and when the GUI is open I get the noise (pops/cracks) every few bars. If I close the GUI it is clean. This is the same problem that happened and was fixed with 3.1.<br ...

BTW. Do you have a minimum host plug-in buffer size. I am currently using a value that is equal to my latency buffer. What do you suggest for JS3?

Audio Dropouts with J3

<t>Ralph: I am still have problems with dropouts and JS3. I really suspect now that it is not my hardware but JS3. I use DPCLAT.exe to check for DPC latencies and I'm all good even when I'm getting the dropouts in JS3. I wanted to try to go back to JS2 but my links are expired on my download page ...

Buy new styles without sounds

I'm of the same opinion on styles and players. I have enough drum kits already.

<r>Yes I figured that part out. There is the little switchable text in the mixer panel. <E>:idea:</E> However if I inadvertently load the subhosted kit, it basically allocates memory space in the S2 application for the kit samples. Even after I go switch the "midi only" text in the mixer panel to ...

Audio Dropouts with J3

<t>Ralph: Interesting note to you reguarding sub-hosting S2. On a whim I decided to try to use J3 to just send MIDI only to my host and then on to S2 on another track. This seemed to work better than actually subhosting S2 in JS3 terms of the number of dropouts. But I did note a couple of things. If ...

<t>Yes, I am using 3.0.1.<br/>
<br/>
Ralph, I don't expect you to run down my problems with hardware issues (if I have them.) I have lots of tools to do that myself. (DPC latency checkers, etc.) I am just trying to ascertain the difference in graphics usage so I can see whether or not there is an ...
